Man found not guilty of raping 3-year-old

first_imgConway Gray walked out of the High Court a free man on Tuesday after a 12-member jury found him not guilty of raping a 3-year-old girl back in 2015.The ruling was handed down by Justice Jo Ann Barlow after he was found not guilty by 10 of the jurors.It is alleged that Gray, on June 19, 2015, raped the child. He was represented by Attorney-at-Law Maxwell McKay while the case was prosecuted by Seeta Bishundial.In giving the ruling, Justice Barlow told the accused that he was being given another chance and as such, should stay away from the court environment.Meanwhile, he advised the prosecution to continue to provide support for the victim since she is of age to understand what had transpired in court.last_img read more

first_img 3 3 Joint third: With eight consecutive wins in the Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 respectively, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Lazio and Marseille can boast the third longest winning streaks in Europe’s top 10 leagues in the 2014/15 season. Lazio’s eight game run lifted the club from sixth to second in Serie A, coming to an end with defeat against champions-elect Juventus on 18 April, but they are currently a point clear of third-placed city rivals Roma. Marseille won eight games in a row early on to lead Ligue 1, but relinquished top spot early in 2015 and are now on a run of four consecutive defeats, dropping them to fifth and leaving Champions League football a fading possibility. Only Bayern out of this quartet sit top of their league, with Pep Guardiola’s team already crowned champions. As are the next team in our list – click right to find out who they are! In second place, with 11 straight Eredivisie wins, it’s Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven, who won 11 on the bounce to help secure their first Eredivisie title in six years. In first place, it’s Real Madrid, who notched up 12 Liga wins in a row between September and December 2014 – From their 8-2 win away to Deportivo La Coruna on 20 September to a 4-1 win at Almeria on 12 December, Carlo Ancelotti’s side couldn’t stop winning in the Spanish top flight. This spell included a 3-1 Clasico victory over Barcelona at the Bernabeu and in those 12 consecutive league games, Los Blancos scored a whopping 68 goals.
